From the golden age: The Pussycat Dolls perform on Regis and Kelly in 2009. Note the blonde in thigh high boots. Note the two pairs of proper knee boots and the two pairs of calf-high boots. I remember being a little miffed that only one singer was in boots over the knee. Little did I suspect the horror that was to come. I'm pretty sure that a 2015 version wouldn't feature a single pair of boots much above the ankle.
Missy in the tan knee highs over jeans is my fave boot girl from that chanteuse ensemble. The red headed lady (don't know her name) was quite a prolific boot wearer too, as I recall.

of course I am sure Regis is thinking to himself why cant one of these girls be my co-host look at those lovely boots! No instead he was stuck with Ripa who seems to hate boots sure she wore those thigh boots once 100 years ago but thats it. Ugh
