From the made-for-TV The Girl in the Empty Grave (1977). I will ALWAYS have warm memories of this style. This was the boot style of my youth and you always remember.
In the late 70's Andy Griffith made several of these and they were all filmed in the small mountain town of Big Bear Lake. My family has been vacationing at Big Bear (about 40 miles from my house) my entire life. It adds a layer to the nostalgia to have stood exactly where the camera was placed and remember, "Oh yeah that was before they built the new marina."
