Thanks to the reader who gave me a nudge to get some of these Supergirl episodes trimmed and uploaded. This show is kind of like having a case of delicious and nutritious canned stew in your pantry. It's great and you're glad you have it, but it's going to be a lot of the same thing. The costuming on the other characters is bootless and boring. And, as I said months ago, nobody's getting their throat-pierced by a boot heel on Supergirl. Yes, she wears a very nice pair of red leather OTK flats, but until the Supergirl/Flash crossover with the Sliver Banshee (below) we're probably not seeing a lot of other boots. As I've said before, I love the hunt and I love variety and surprise. With boots in Supergirl, there's not much hunting, variety or surprise. Just delicious and nutritious canned stew.
