I'm not going to say the televised portion of Taylor Swift's performance at the 2018 BBC Biggest Weekend was perfect. But there were a lot of things that went right. First off, the boots. After two years of a flood of fabric thighboots, it is so refreshing to see a proper pair of leather OTK's. Given her activity level, I feel the heel is plenty high, and I adore the foot shape and shaft construction. Just great boots.
But that's not all. The lighting is as good as you'll find in a concert video.  It looks like she's facing slightly southwest around sunset. The light isn't too harsh, but doesn't allow deep shadows. Proper bright illumination, even for my ancient eyes. It's just a one-off show, so we don't have the distraction of complex sets (a bigger problem than you'd think with many arena shows).  The camera isn't static and there are a bunch of them. The director had a good sense of pace, wasn't enamored of long close-ups and never let a single view lag too long.

I tried to edit this down to the zippyshare max (500 mb). No way, so I just split it into two chunks.

Enjoy, or don't. I did.
