Ariana Grande is quickly becoming a boot icon. Here is a pretty complete version of her Aug 16 appearance on Jimmy Fallon. I did not include her Aretha Franklin tribute which is available here. This is a very active talk show appearance with an extended walk on and 2 "out of her chair" episodes. I was mildly dismissive of her a couple of posts down. She is clearly a talented singer and is much smarter than her public persona. And that's the problem I have. I've never been fond of women who "play dumb." To put it in old fogey terms-I'm going to pick Jane Russell over Marilyn Monroe every time.

ReplyDeleteThat weird feeling when you despise someone, but she happens to be the boot queen of these days and age and thus she forces you into adoration.
I save "despise" for the Kardashians. Ariana's just the most recent in a long line of "that type." The Kardashians will prove to be the architects for the end of civilization.
