Legend of the Superheros

You'd think I'd be used to it by now. Saturday night, I was getting a block of clips ready for upload. I've had two clips from "Legend Of The Superheros" (1979) lurking on my harddrive for a couple of years and thought this was a good time to upload them. I got them uploaded, but Saturday night turned to Sunday night turned to Monday morning. In between blog posts this morning I was killing a little time and doing some surfing.
As I do most everyday I visited the Made For Walking tumblr created by AndyP as a companion piece to his completely brilliant Made For Walking blog. There on his tumblr was this promo shot from the obscure 1979 TV special Legend of the Superheros, a special I was minutes away from blogging about. I've lost track of how many times the two of us have been on the same page, a continent apart. Yes, we're both prolific commentators about a relatively limited subject and I'm sure the over-lap is merely coincidence. But I still have to wonder what the odds are that he'd stumble across this rare shot while I was in the process of blogging about the special it came from.

Legend of the Superheros (1979) was a two part TV special that features two booted superheroines and is a prime example of everything that was wrong with the late 70's. It's just awful. Thank goodness the boot are good. This is part one-"The Challenge"
