If the "reality" show Jerseylicious (this is S04E19)has a saving grace, it's how often it features scenes like this, full view shots of big-haired broads in boots screaming at each other. The OTK's are examples of what I call "Club MTV" boots (because of their late 80's ubiquity on that dance program). I can enjoy a flat with a well constructed foot(riding/cowboy), sadly these are best described as suede stockings with a flap of rubber glued to the bottom. These won't be for everybody, but......
The blond one in the end of that clip had a pair of boots autographed by their designer (maybe Blahnik? I forget). She bragged about it several times. They may very well have been that same pair as in the end of the this clip. These women (and several others on this show) wore boots ALL the time. I'd never have watched a minute of it if not for that fact.
ReplyDeleteThere were a lot of boots on this show. I've got 720p versions of most of season 4 and 5. I remember going on a fruitless hunt for the earlier seasons about 2 and 1/2 years ago and coming up empty. These kinds of shows can be a bitch to trim. I don't know why I did this one, I think I couldn't find an HD version and these were the only boots in the episode, so I just hacked 'em out. Some day I'm going to get to all of these and Kourtney and Kim Take New York and the 1,000's of other shows I've got stored. Until then.....
