On the Christmas Eve edition of Good Day LA, Araksya Karapetyan was nice enough to sport a KILLER pair of spiky OTK's. As the main anchor that day she was on the air for hours and participated in a number of couch and standing segments. I want to get this started ASAP, and I think my Christmas morning will be starting soon, so here's the first two clips of the wonderful surprise that Araksya left under the tree.

I'm not a huge fan of suede, having been bored by the prevalence of it all right now, but even I thought this is great. Thanks for the Christmas present, Bruce and Araksya!
ReplyDeleteI would describe these as almost more felt than suede. I hear you about the ubiquity of high suede boots right now. I've got some thoughts about this that I hope to turn into words when I put up the remaining clips of this group. Can't complain about the heels on these though.
DeleteAgreed; they really look more like felt. No complaints about the heels. I also like the way the tops are stiff enough that they are high above the knee when she sits. I have always loved that view of seated women in boots.
ReplyDeleteAgree about the stiff shafts (which sounds much dirtier than I intended). I've always thought of that part sticking up as "bat wings." Love the way she absentmindedly plays with them.

ReplyDeleteI agree on the suede issue. This is one of the few suede pairs I've seen that competes with any leather. Definitely the best suede pair I've seen this year. Araksya KILLS IT!
