Sam Ponder Shows How It's Done

Three thoughts about this clip of Samantha Ponder on yesterday's College Game Day-
1. That's a heck of pair of boots she's wearing. We've all seen a TON of suede thighboots this year.  I think this is an above average pair. Sam spent some time shopping for these. The heel and toe are magnificent (your results may vary) and the shaft finds a sweet spot between stretchy and stove-pipe-y(?). I like these a lot.
2. For an interviewer who never uncrosses her legs, she fidgets a bunch.  Loads of ankle twists and knee flexing. I never got tired of watching.
3. My new capture rig is making me come to terms with the massive difference between "HD" signals. I wish this could look as good as a properly lit (lighted?-thank you internet) studio segment.  This difference in quality even extends to various networks and time of broadcast-ABC daytime looks like crap. I'm not going to bang my head against that wall any longer. I'm still tweaking the settings, but I'm becoming comfortable with the process of making my own caps.
