On Thanksgiving, while I was struggling to keep a civil tongue in my head, Dr Morgus was capping the Macy's Parade. While the parade has seen one of the finest pairs of boots in history,(refreshed download link) too often it seems a study of frustration to me. Bulky float structures, bad camera angles and a bloated total run time usually discourage me. Thankfully, the good Doctor is made of sterner stuff. There's some decent boots in this mix. On a different day I might list all the boots and wearers. But it's not a different day.
Looking back at it since that wonderful Jane wore those magnificent boots. Since that day I have been recording the Parade every year and it has steadily declined. Between the camera angles, the floats and more important where on the floats those booted women happen to be. This year I was able to get through it because of the MST3K Turkey Day Marathon so that made it an easy joy to sit through.
