From "F Comme Fairbanks" 1976 we see a great example of the late 70's leg-warmers and boots look. Considering how popular this look was at my high school, it's a shame it was supplanted by the grossly inferior Flashdance leg-warmers and ballet slippers look a few years later. One of my lasting memories was being at the mall the week after Christmas when I was 15 or 16. It seemed everywhere you looked there were girls trying on boots to wear with their new Christmas legwarmers or vice versa. A Merry Christmas was had by all.
