The Fall/Winter of 2011/12 was arguably the high water mark for the most recent boot wave. Here we see both Carrie Keagan and Jamie-Lynn Sigler in Over The Knee Boots. A year later, the whims of fashion would have demanded they be in horrible little lace-up ankle boots. A very tight edit, I'm still getting the hang of trimming my own caps in this manner.
The recent boot highlight IMO was 2005; the main designers worked high boots into the majority of their collections and this was reflected in what the shops stocked. Every year, fashion journalists dictate that "ankle boots are trendy" - fuck knows why - but I think only young girls tend to wear them. I hope I'm wrong but this year looks a bit ankle boot heavy.

Nice video! I love Carrie because she wears boots often! I've seen pictures of her in this show 'the buzz' where she wears brown leather thigh high boots from zara. I was never able to watch that show from my country.....do you have it?
