Corinne Alphen in Spring Break (1983)

These two numbers from Spring Break (1983) are deservedly famous (amongst boot-fanciers anyway). The song is less subtle than a Pussycat Dolls number, but never have thigh high boots and spandex looked better (or been better presented).  The singer is Penthouse Pet/actress Corinne Alphen (Wahl). In her day she qualified as a premier boot queen. We may see why in later posts.

A word about video quality and the beast that is Youtube. The zippyshare clip above is an mvk file that is nearly identical to the DVD and is the best quality I've found. Youtube shrunk it from 800X432 to 640X346 and there is a noticeable drop in quality. I would say, sample the youtube clip and if you like it, be sure to download the zippyshare.


Finally the clip is simply complete versions of the two songs she performs in those magnificent boots. I had forgotten how little you see in the second number (and how much I think the first number would benefit from a little bit of repeat action-those kicks? Play it again Sam!). With just the slightest amount of prodding I could probably be convinced to do a re-edit of this.
