Fur Lined Snow Boots and WTF

Sunny Boy and Sugar Baby(1979) starts out normally enough, with a few decent views of an unusual pair of heeled fur lined boots(I think you'll like these John Smith). Then Dschinghis Khan shows up and things fly off the rails.

Imagine if you will, a German version of Abba all hopped up on some heinous pharmaceutical grade mix of cocaine, PCP and ecstasy. Add in The Village People's costume designer and THE WORST disco pop you've ever heard and you're still not quite prepared for Dschinghis Khan. They apparently competed in the Euro-vision Song Contest in 1979 with their song Dschinghis Khan. Like most Americans, I always believed that the Euro-vision Song Contest was mythical gag created by Monty Python. "Bands" like Dschinghis Khan  did not dissuade us from that belief. It makes me happy when my love of the epically cheesy and horribly awful collides with my passion for boots.
