From the disappointing Hell Comes To Frogtown(1988).
You read-
Hell' is the name of the hero of the story. He's a prisoner of the women who now run the USA after a nuclear/biological war. Results of the war are that mutants have evolved, and the human race is in danger of extinction due to infertility. Hell is given the task of helping in the rescue of a group of fertile women from the harem of the mutant leader (resembling a frog). Hell cannot escape since he has a bomb attached to his private parts which will detonate if he strays more than a few hundred yards from his guard.
And then you see Sandahl Bergman in riding style boots and pants and settle in for 90 minutes of goofy fun. And then after 20 minutes she goes barefoot in a bikini and stays that way for the rest of the film. I hated it when I rented this in the 80's and I hate it now. Great way to start a movie though.
I recall watching this on the old USA Network "Up All Night" show with Gilbert Gottfried and/or Rhonda Shear. It was lousy. Trying to play up on Sandahl's moderate "Conan" fame.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen it, but the fact that the script calls for an attractive lady to change out of the sophisticated equestrian look into the cheap thrills bikini outfit is a predictable shame. Nice boots, BTW.
