Jennifer Hudson performs at 2009 VH-1 Diva's Live concert in leather-look pants and magnificent thigh boots. A good looking HD version considering it's over 5 years old. I'm glad I laid out my scientific parameters for boot height nomenclature. According to my guidelines these can be considered thigh high boots. While they are scrunched down slightly, they still clearly cover the entire joint, touch part of the muscle of the thigh, and if pulled tight would reach well up the thigh. Now I just need to figure out what to call pants that look something like leather, but probably aren't.
