A tasty pair of knee-scraping black leather boots with a wedge heel from Young and Hungry S02E01. Thanks to a reader for the nudge. I knew there were boots in this, but was surprised by their quality and amount of screen time. Getting almost 2 minutes of bootage out of a sitcom is pretty good. Action shows sometimes feature better boots (doing more interesting things) but often a sit-com's lighting and staging give us the best views.
BTW-by using my groundbreaking boot height nomenclature guide I was comfortable naming these knee-scrapers, but if they were even a fraction of an inch taller I'd have gone with OTK. I find a lot to like about these boots.

Every time I see a pair of 50/50s i die a little. I understand that non shiny materials appeal to some, but for me it absolutely kills the draw of it. Of course the world doesn't revolve around me so keep uploading these great clips regardless of my arbitrary likes!
ReplyDeleteI was expecting a complaint about wedge heels. It's been my experience that people who don't like wedgies are very vocal about it.
DeleteLovely boots - my favourite length. The wedgies aren't perfect, but to me the shaft length of boots is everything.
