Kim Horcher-Thanks Barry!

Last night I got an e-mail from Barry Brite of the Booted Newswoman Blog. He thought (correctly) that I'd really enjoy the two clips of Kim Horcher from Nerd Alert that he posted yesterday. He wanted to make sure I didn't miss them. Of course I had already seen them. Like all good boot hobbyists, I visit his blog several times a day.  He also thought my readers would like them. In my reply e-mail I assured him that anyone interested in my odd little corner of the interwebs was most certainly an avid reader of his blog.

So, while I'm certain that you've already seen these, I'm posting the videos because it gives me a chance to thank Barry once again for his tireless efforts.  I remain in awe of his ability to engage the subjects of his blog. Public figures tweet him pictures of themselves in boots(I still can't really wrap my brain around this).  As a hermit/archivist I'm amazed by his ability to maintain a network of contributors/tipsters.  I know how hard it is to do what he makes look easy. Hell, I don't know how he comes up with those horrible puns he often uses as post titles.

Anyway, Barry thought you'd like these, I like them. Enjoy, even though I'm sure you've already seen them. And if you haven't seen them, you need to visit The Appreciation of Booted Newswomen Blog more often.

Last minute add-Barry also thinks you might like this OTK Boot Duel.

  2. Kind of ironic that one of the clips show Ms Horcher asking for the most memorable Spock moment. In the original Star Trek series, the episode "Spock's Brain", which is considered one of the worst episodes, features two women in 60's style OTK's!
    Regards,

P.S. please keep up the good work.
