How Suede Should Be Done

Home & Family (on The Hallmark Channel) shows how suede OTK's should be done.  How many shows have a garden expert (Shirley Bovshow) that wears a great pair of tan suede OTK's?  I really love these boots.

At the end we get a glimpse of Tanya Memme's black suede OTK's.  This pair is featured in our second clip.

From the same episode, my favorite Canadian (maybe second favorite) wears a proper black pair of high-heeled OTK's. I've studied this pair and I think there is a band of lace at the top that permanently affixed to the boot.  It could be a pair of lacy boot-socks, but I don't see the telltale gap at the top of the shaft.
