Not 100 Boots, Yet

For the first season and a half, The 100 (on the CW) was the worst sort of ankle shoe hell. It started to turn around in the last few episodes of season 2(here and here).  The first episode of season 3 started slowly, a standard pair of riders and it's a crime against nature that the MAGNIFICENT mounted warrior woman(below) was wearing such crappy boots. Then, the puma-killer shows up in the briefly glimpsed OTK's we saw last season when she was blonde.  Those are the boots an action heroine should wear. They're joined by a pair of OTK's on the woman who runs the trading post and they're "knockin boots¹" before you can say "high-tone prime-time lesbian erotica." Yes, this clip is pretty dark, the edit is too loose, the boots too infrequent and the stillcaps are almost useless, but I have my eyes this one.  A good episode of The 100 could be GREAT!


¹"Knocking boots" is a colloquial expression for sex play. No boots are actually knocked in this scene. BTW-my use of parenthetical phrases has gotten so disruptive, I'm going to try using footnotes instead.

Bad things need to happen to whoever dressed this magnificent woman in ankle shoes!

I'm adding this text two hours later, I only just noticed that this post about the show The 100, was my 100th post for the month. I certainly didn't plan it that way. What are the odds?
