Wendy Williams Re-Boots

After a long absence, Wendy Williams re-booted on her show that aired Tuesday, Jan 19. These boots from Barney's (I wouldn't know this if she didn't mention it) are a superior version of the suede thighboot. I've grown somewhat weary of the tight-to-the-leg, stretch-suede stocking-boot that seems to be everywhere. Wendy's boots show some shape of their own and there's some very tasty "bat-wing" action at the top of the shaft. In a nice touch, we see Wendy retrieve some "booty" that she keeps in her boot. In the last scene, please note the audience member in the back row wearing brown OTK's.

The clip below previously appeared here, but I HAD to include it with this post.  I've been watching talk shows for booted women my entire life. The fact that a hostess wore a nice pair of thighboots is pleasant, but not revolutionary. A backstage video that shows that hostess complaining of boot-sweat and shows some unfortunate/lucky  flunky having to pull off those boots is mind-boggling.  We all might be going to hell in a handbasket, but there are somethings about the internet I really like.
