A "New" Star On 106th

I say "New" because while Keshia Chanté has been hostess of 106th and Park on BET for some time, her footwear choices have always leaned towards ankle boots. That seemed to have changed this week. As we'll see in other posts, she spent the first part of the week in wonderful black leather OTK's and on Friday changed into these lovelies.  I'm sure one of my readers can identify this pair of thigh high boots. I've seen them before, they've got alternating strips of black and clear fabric which can confuse the eye, but these are absolutely a proper pair of thigh-high boots. Note how the shaft stands off the leg when she bends her knee and the shape of the foot is classic and elegant.

BTW-I think I may have worked out a good protocol for trimming and uploading my HD caps. It's a little complicated, but not too time-consuming. While not perfect, I find the end result acceptable. In addition, I think I've sorted out a good balance between posting, trimming, general file management and of course what passes for my "real" life.

  1. Hi Bruce, they look like these Christian Louboutin suede boots: http://coolspotters.com/shoes/christian-louboutin-cutout-over-the-knee-suede-boot

  2. Bruce

Fantastic video. I have them recorded as Louboutin “Circus” cut-out thigh-high boots from 2009. Ciara, Mel B, Kylie Minogue and Katy Perry are others who have worn them.

Keshia Chanté is an accomplished boot-wearer and I have some pictures I will post to the celebs section of the BBB is you are interested.

    Thanks again

  3. Well, I ended up cheating, I went back to the original recording and the clothing credits at the end listed Suicidal Heels, I thought they were a retailer/stylist, but turns out they're a manufacturer (clearly of knock-offs-those look just like the Louboutin's). The boots in question are called the Yi-Yang-
