A clarification

While a file uploads, I'd like to clarify/expand on an earlier post where I opined about the possible future of thighboots (particularly the fabric variety).  I don't think thighboots are dead, but they won't be able to sustain the "heat" they had this year. They're no longer going to be the Next Big Thing. Tamron Hall won't be gushing about them on the Today Show(ok, Tam won't be doing anything on The Today show, but you know what I mean).  I don't think the mainstream fashion "experts" will be hyperventilating over them on "What to wear this Fall" segments.  The fabric thigh/OTK boot was just too huge this year. 

We'll probably see a number of the fashionistas in things like the Balmain reptile print crotch-highs-

And those glorious women who "get it" will continue to find attractive boots to wear. But my hunch (and greatest fear) is that "This Year's Boot" for 2017/18 is going to look more like this-
