Dyan Cannon in Thigh High Boots

Actress Dyan Cannon is one of the unheralded boot queens. For about 3 decades she's been a booted presence courtside at Laker's games. Do a google search for "Dyan Cannon Lakers" or "Dyan Cannon Boots." Consider that she's been  dressing that way for almost the entirety of the boot era and that adds up to A LOT of boots. Her roles in movies haven't been quite as bootie, but she's had some shining moments, like.......

From Le Casse (1971), Dyan Cannon (and others) look great in 60's style thigh high boots.  The white leather pair on the dancer (not Ms Cannon) is worth the price of admission and Dyan's beige suede pair are magnificent. Sorry, the audio track is WAY out of sync. I trimmed this back in 2010 and I just noticed how bad it was. I download a new version of the whole movie that SAID it was a DVD rip, but it was visually inferior to this one. At that point I had spent too much time on this (regardless of how much I like Dyan and her boots)


Last minute add-In hindsight, I might dub these boots "transitional." Both Dyan's and the dancer's boots span the 60's and 70's and share some features with both decades.
