The Girl Who Played with the Dead (2014), looks like a throwback to the ugly, cheap home-video horror movies of the late-90's. This is partly because of the suede OTK's we see. For the bulk of the nineties, I saw a pair of these patchwork boot-of-many-colors at virtually every clearance sale and bargain bin I shopped. It seemed like they manufactured about 2 million more of these then they could actually sell.
