Bloody Pit of Horror (1965) is usually only recalled because it stars Mariska Hargitay's dad(did you know Mariska has a brother named Zoltan?). It is of interest to us because of the inclusion of a "cheesecake pirate"-a time honored way to photograph booted women prior to the dawn of the boot era.  Yes, this movie did come AFTER YSL's ground breaking 1963 collection, but I doubt this outfit was influenced by couture.
