You may recall I was looking forward to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016). Sadly I found the movie to be too much Jane Austin, not enough George Romero. Loads of long gowns and mannered pauses. Not enough of the jumping and the fighting and the kicking. Sadly, Lena Headey's role as a veteran zombie killer was small and static. When Lily James finally got into her action suit, she was filmed in the dark. There's still some good stuff there, but my hopes were just too high.
I was surprised how much I liked this movie. More fun than I expected. However, I would love to see a movie with just Lena's character kicking ass (human and zombie). Nice high-quality clip.
