My First Post, just testing a video link-
From Gainsbourg: A Heroic Life (2010), a bio-pic of the inexplicably lucky French singer/songwriter Serge Gainsbourg.

  1. Any way we can mobilize the women of the world to step out in jeans and boots in the middle of June, in support of 'Caitlyn'?

    1. Well, every woman in that family has worn boots now.

    2. So, they are worth something after all.
I suppose we should be grateful to them for their contribution to boots consciousness in our time.

  2. Any heads up on "Wayward Pines"? I stumbled across it this morning. Two confirmed "sightings" already. Looks a bit Steven King-ish. Worthwhile watching the 'catchup' repeat showings? I found it at half way through episode 5.

    1. I read this, I'm on it. Making a little feature about it, should be ready soon. I haven't seen episode two, but the other four all feature minor bootage, but those scene's in Ep 5 are the best so far.

  3. Just back from a business trip out of town. On local TV they were showing episodes of an old Bones series. I don't know which one, but Bones was investigating a 'tribe' called Guido?
Almost every night she appeared in a short trench coat and fairly tall, heeled boots over pants. In Tokyo we are getting reruns of series 8 and 9, by which time Brennan seems to have adopted the pants and jackboots look as her standard wardrobe, at work and at home. Is there any online commentary on Bones' choice of boots?
I've read many articles and interviews about Kalinda's boots of justice, but I don't see anything about the evolution of Bones' boots style.
