Suede vs "suede"

It seems very clear to me that one of these boots comes from a cow and the other comes from a laboratory. The pictures come from here and here.

  1. Watching "House Hunters Renovation" season 4, episode 4, this morning on HGTV. It takes place in Fairfield, CT. The couple has a designer working for them who wears a great pair of black, high-heeled OTKs over leggings with a leather moto-style vest, perhaps among others (I missed the first part of the show).

    FWIW and FYI ...

    1. Good tip, sadly it doesn't look like its on-demand, or on the repeat scheduled, but I'll keep my eye out.

  2. Here's that same designer, in different boots. Amazing! http://serendipitygreenwich.lockesports.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/noSer-064.jpg

    1. The numbering system is REALLY messed up with this show. The episode in question is called two different names and at least as many episode numbers. I'm 90% certain it's called both "First Time Homebuyers Take on an Over the Top Renovation" AND "From Frat House to Fab Home" and called both ep 4 and 9 in different places.

      The whole episode is here-

Like I said, not completely certain, but it fits all the criteria (i.e. designer in OTK's)

    2. What I can tell you for sure is that it's in Fairfield, Conn. They mentioned having moved from a "frat house" in what I saw (again, didn't see the first bit). The designer's name is Sam or Samantha.

From Frat House to Fab Home is indeed the episode in question. Though even having done this much research (not much), I'm wondering if it's worth it for such a short glimpse (though, they were great boots!).
