I originally uploaded this for the Mary J Blige Flood in early December, but some sort of brain fart left it unposted. It was in danger of being permanently forgotten if I didn't finish it now.

70's boot style tended towards country squire/urban cowgirl. The other thread of 70's style, slick n' shiny disco wear tended not to feature as many boots. Je te tiens, tu me tiens par la barbichette (1972) is an exception.

From the anthology series  Hammer House of Horrors (S01E11) we see 70's style knee boots done to perfection. While this style is not rare in the popular media, I do believe that films and TV under-represent just how popular this look was.
