The boots Jessica Szohr wore in Love Bite (2012) are wonderfully typical of the OTK's that were popular in 2010-12.  I find very little to improve with brown leather boots and jacket separated by tight denim. Badly placed keyframes make this cut a little looser than I'd like.

Yes, in this clip it looks like the singer might be wearing crotch-high black leather boots worn over denim. Closer examination and historical research STRONGLY suggests the devils deception.-

This picture of the band on stage is from earlier in the year, but studying the clip makes me think she's wearing something like this. Bloody shame too. I am intoxicated by the geometry of leather snuggling up with denim in that region. To bad it has to end with.......those things. Only a boot lover would know how much this matters.

No I don't actually

I know it might seem like I obsessively collect every boot scene of every movie.  I have frequently said, "this one made the cut." Well, for no particular reason Digging For Fire (2015) didn't. Despite the presence of several minutes of this pair of not-quite-tall-enough riders (with leather jacket) I just couldn't.  Given the cast and indie-cred, this might actually be a watchable movie. But I'll see scores of boots just like this in my local supermarket once the weather cools. And at this moment in time I just, you know, can't.
