From Killing Car (1993-filmed in 1989) an above average pair of over the knee flat-heeled boots. I only say above average because some of the 80's style OTK flats were truly horrible. The bad pairs of 80's OTK's seemed like little more than suede socks with a flap of rubber glued to the bottom. This pair is leather, has a well-formed foot and delightful buckles at the instep and top of the shaft.
Film nerd note: this is from director Jean Rollin, the French Jess Franco. Yes this is inflammatory, but compare their careers and output and tell me I don't have a point. If it makes you feel better you can call Franco the Spanish Jean Rollin. Anyway, unlike Franco who inserts boots in unlikely situations, Rollin's leitmotif is young ladies in gauzy nightgowns wandering through misty graveyards. This is fine if you have a taste for young ladies in gauzy nightgowns. For boot hobbyists, most of his output is a frustrating waste of time. Except for this, one of his final works.
