"Gus Hardin" (born Carolyn Ann Blankenship-seen above) was a country singer who had a few minor hits in the mid-80's. One of them was "I Pass," a tale of a woman who refuses to take back a low-down skunk of a man. In the music video....well.... Gus decides that varmit needs to be taught a lesson.

Back in the day, my fevered imagination pictured what happened in the sequel, after the dogs drag him back. I know the quality of this ain't great but this is rarer than hen's teeth. This version is clearly a screen capture from Yahoo Music. I found this in 2008 and haven't seen any trace of it since. If you've got a better version I'd LOVE to see it. Clearly these aren't the best boots ever in a music video. And this MAY not be the best beatdown in music video. But I'm not sure there's a better music video at the intersection of boots and beatdown.
LOVE this. I once posted this on boots-n-heels or one of the sites, but a long time ago. So femdom for "mainstream" media. Great stuff - JohnSmith14 (formerly Sid14)
ReplyDeleteIt's been a favorite of mine for almost 3 decades. Always good to hear from you. BTW-I didn't know you were Sid14. I remember you from back in the day.
