Clearing out some things, here's Demi Lovato on NYE 2015/16. IMO, these are  better than her usual boots. She's always leaned more towards  sheer stocking-style boots, while these are more constructed. These appear to have some shape of their own rather than simply taking all of their contours from the wearer's leg.
