While we're on the topic of pointless remakes-I wouldn't have given Vacation (2015) a second glance, if not for a boot view in the trailer. Turns out the split second of Leslie Mann's OTK's (top screen) in the trailer was almost the only bootage in the whole mess, other than a few flickers of the tops of her suede thighboots.
