Maybe in 1997, Meghan Trainor's fabric thighboots would have been noteworthy. In 2016 they were indicative of a disappointing show.  Included is a segment from the Broadway smash Hamilton that features a stage full of dancers (male and female) in riders.

As I've said before I'm fond of the work the costume department did dressing Dominique McElligott in Hell On Wheels. This is a compilation of episodes 4,7,9 and 10 all from season 2. They killed her off and as far as I've seen no one's filled her boots.

So When Will Mazikeen Get Her Own Show?

While the actual watchability of Lucifer has been declining since the premier, the dark one's side-kick (Hell's head torturer she's called at one point) remains a point of interest.  Here we see Mazikeen "helping"while wearing lovely leather knee-scrapers over leather pants.  I'm way behind in trimming this show down, but most episodes have had brief segment of interest.  While I'm happy that "Chloe" the police detective occasionally wears knee boots over her jeans, it makes my job much harder.  There's a huge scan-time difference between a supporting character who's ALWAYS in leather and a main character who SOMETIMES swaps out her repulsive ankle shoes for decent knee boots.   

Super "70's" Boots

These are NOT boots from the 70's. But they are from That 70's Show (S05E05). Mila and Laura both in super hero thigh boots. My nod goes to Ms Prepon's towering red boots.  In a look-how-far-we've-come observation. When this aired in 2002 I felt fortunate to have recorded it on blurry VHS. There was almost no other way to save TV shows. Fast-Forward 14 years, a near perfect 1080p copy was on my hard-drive about 30 minutes after I thought, "I wonder if it's been released in HD."
