Jess Franco's muse Lina Romay wears top buckled white 60's style thigh boots in La Comtesse Perverse (1974). I'm not sure if the late Spanish director was "one of us" but he sure put a lot of boots in his movies.

ReplyDeleteGlad to do it, I was quite taken by the image quality in this one, so often with movies of this vintage and type we're left with washed out 3rd generation dubs of a bad TV capture. This looks pretty clean and professionally mastered from film.
