For over a decade I've dreamed of this day. Sportscaster Suzy Kolber wore a very nice pair of knee boots on camera today and even participated in a demo. Maybe I should dream bigger, but this makes me VERY happy. Sorry no sound.
Being a Brit, I'm not familiar with the (admittedly lovely) Suzy, but presume she has been a long time 'she never gets them on' kind of girl? I still get a real sense of delight when a woman who has along history of boring shoe wearing suddenly appears in a decent pair of boots. Warms my heart (and hopefully her feet and lower legs...)

She started as a side-line reporter. Since (American) football is an Autumn sport, she'd be dressed in great looking sweaters and jackets, but you'd never see her feet, so nobody knew what she was wearing. She's spent some time as a studio host, but ESPN seems pretty relentless anti-boot up in Bristol. To see her frolicking on the field dressed like that.......almost a bucket list item. Again, I think I need to dream bigger.
DeleteI have a similar theory about the delightful Eva Green - a real disappointment and 'professional ankle booter'.
