From Switchblade Sisters (1975) Joanne Nail's suede thigh boots are AWESOME and Robbie Lee's leather knee boots add some interest. This is a girl-gang classic.
If you were a video store regular back in the day, you certainly should remember Switchblade Sisters. As I recall, Joanne's thighboots were prominently displayed on the box. Trimming it again, I was surprised how brief the initial fight scene is. In my VHS compilation I repeated those scenes so many times it seemed like the scene went on for minutes. I have always had mixed emotions about this movie. After a brilliant start, Joanne abandons her thigh boots and micro-denim for a dreary espadrille and slacks combo. Still the complete movie is an enjoyable exercise in over-the-top cross genre exploitation trash.
