From a 1962 staging of Der Rosenkavalier.  About 3 and half years ago (can that be right?) I wrote up this little post on Breeches Roles.  Der Rosenkavalier is probably the most reliably bootie and frequently performed example of the type. I went on a Rose Knight kick a while back and collected these three examples. They're all a little too long and this one is my favorite(crotch high beige boots with spurs? yes please).
