If I may relate a personal story: It would have been only a few years before this movie was released, in the house next-door to where I grew up. The girl next door was "bossy" by nature. We had to play Catwoman and Robin because, as she explained, "Batman always won." In our games Robin NEVER won. She rode English and after her lessons one day she told me to pull off her boots. Unlike the still above I was facing her, but it was difficult to pull them off. I don't know for certain if she was balling up her toes to make the job harder, but it would have been consistent with her personality. I do know that something exploded in my psyche that afternoon and women in boots became VERY important to me after that.

ReplyDeleteI am the 'Crinkle Vinyl Boot Lover' I've been in love with crinkle vinyl boots since I was about 6 years old. My older sister and her girl frend who had a serious crush on.Got some really nice knee-high zipperless white crinkle vinyl gogo boots for a baton twirling gig in our towns parade. My sister burned out on wearing hers a couple weeks after the parade. But her girl friend did not When she came over she'd leave her boots at the door. And I remember sneaking a feel of her boots a couple of times. They were so nice and soft, supple and really nice and smooth and I liked them. So I began sneaking my sisters identical boots out of her closet at night and wearing them to bed all night.I loved those boots!
