If you're a boot hobbyist who's been a member of most any bootcentric forum you've probably enjoyed the video clips and deranged sense of humor of a man known simply as Dr. Morgus (probably NOT a licensed medical doctor). While I've never completely understood his undying yet chaste passion for Paris Hilton, I've considered him a friend for at least a decade now. I would like to take this opportunity to thank him for the video clips he's been nice enough to share with me, so I can share them with you. But I'm certain that many of you are already familiar with the mad-man from the swamps of Jersey.
OK, but are there boots in that movie ?
ReplyDeleteNope, just the kind of goofy movie you'd expect from a TV horror movie host. I love the poster though. I knew "our" Dr Morgus long before I even knew he had appropriated the name.

If I can be half as good a capper as you are Bruce I will be truly happy. And JA my friend thanks for the kind words. Knighted hmm that means I kneel before some sexy English woman with a sexy English accent in sexy boots. Elizabeth Hurley comes to mind but wait she doesnt wear boots! Oh I got one even better the greatness that is Natalie Dormer. Oh yes that works perfectly. Of course if there are any other suitable ladies I am missing which I am sure there are by all means do let me know.
ReplyDeleteAs for the movie it is great. The Wacky World of Dr Morgus is a true film icon. His character was brought back in the mid to late 80's where he and his side kick chopsley and super computer E.R.I.C would do random experiments while also hosting great movies such as Godzilla, Rodan and some b horror movies on a saturday morning. Ok as usual my internal clock to stop my bantering has broker so I will stop now.
One final comment that everyone here will agree with. Thanks for this awesome blog and two awesome youtube channels Bruce.
