If there's one thing TV has taught me, lawyers are only slightly more likely to wear boots than doctors or nurses. The Good Mistress (2014) is a silly take on The Good Wife. It starts off well, her first two outfits both feature some tasty, fashionable knee high boots. IMO, the buttery tan first pair are as good as knee boots get. It quickly disappoints with her spending much of the movie in calf high, then ankle high boots.
Even the calf high aren't too bad with the nice buckle detail on the side. But you're right the ankle pair are a complete disappointment.
