This is the first released photo of Melissa Benoist in her costume for the pilot episode of a new CW Supergirl show. There is virtually no chance this will be the outfit that makes it to the screen. Call me a pessimist, but those thighboots will lose about 12 inches before the cameras actually roll(unless they're replaced by strappy sandals or perforated ankle boots).
Unfortunately I have to agree. I am still having nightmares over the truly disgusting ankle shoes that Halle Berry wore in Catwoman.

That's even if it makes it to the screen (TV). Remember the reboot (if you will) of Wonder Woman. Man, the talk on the "net" about her costume. The pilot is out there, w/ an boot up scene (red knee high zip boots). Can't remember the actress that was to play her, but what an beauty......
ReplyDeleteA copy of the Wonder Woman pilot was distributed to affiliates and then leaked to the net. I have a copy, it's not great quality, but trimming it down is on my list. Adrianne Palicki (now sometimes booted on Agents of Shield and in John Wick) played WW-
