As we discussed back in February,  A Most Violent Year contains a few scenes of Jessica Chastain wearing nice vintage, 70's knee boots. This is a quality web-dl HD clip that is going to be as good as it gets until a proper Blu-ray release.
Sorry no youtube
I don't say this often, but if you like movies, you should watch this movie. I mean really watch it, not have it on while you eat dinner, or while you surf the web or catch it on a tablet on a city bus. It was absolutely the best movie 2014 movie I saw. There had to have been some behind the scenes black-balling to account for its total Oscar snub. I saw most of the best picture nominees and it was better than all of them. Especially that self indulgent mess Birdman.  It deserves to be viewed as a companion piece to The GodFather Part II. I just flat out love A Most Violent Year.

  1. I really loved this movie too, just amazing performances and acting and honestly anything with Albert Brooks has something going for it. My favorite movie last year was Whiplash, if you haven't seen that yet, you're in for a great exhilarating ride that has stuck with me since I've seen it.

  2. If you love retro movies/series with some bootage you should check The Americans. It's about two KGB agents who live in the Reagan America of the 80's a fake american life. Not only it's a good show but there some good vintage bootage from the main female character, with superb high heeled brown boots of the time, and even some close ups and boots taking off.

    1. The complete series (to date) of The Americans is on my hard-drive. I know there were some bootcentric scenes in the first season. Sadly it occupies the same mental block area as Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars. I KNOW there are boots there, but the task of going through and extracting them seems daunting.
