What's not to love about this great clip from Glee (S02E06). Oh that's right the music. I'm thrilled by the sight of 20-somethings in shiny catsuits paired with  boots of a variety of heights bumping and grinding.  Let me put it this way, the original version of Living on a Prayer makes me want to gouge my eardrums. The Glee version is worse (I didn't think it could get worse). But, great boots, quality clip, maybe next time I watch on mute.

Sorry no youtube.

  1. Not at all related but not sure you've seen this which certainly has boots and a polishing scene. http://www.autostraddle.com/the-duke-of-burgundy-is-the-lesbian-bdsm-film-youve-been-waiting-for-278921/

  2. Don't know how I missed this one. It's proving to be illusive. I won't rest until I track it down, unless of course I'm distracted by some shiny object. Is that cake still in the fridge?

    1. I hate not being able to edit my comments, I meant of course, elusive. I don't believe the movie is an illusion. Of course I may allude to in the future.

  3. All movies are an illusion. On my cable system -Comcast, it's on VOD. Haven't had a chance to see it yet, trying to think of a proper reason to give my significant other.

  5. Didn't Glee once feature the rarely booted Gwyneth Paltrow in some very pleasant black leather knee highs?

  6. So I watched the Duke of Burgundy last night and really enjoyed it for the boot content (which of course was smaller than I hoped) and the story. Very creative direction and script but it been sticking with me over the past 24 hours and making me think of the nature of the B/D relationship and my relationship to this fetish. There is a twist to the direction of the story that I didn't expect, but without spoiling anything, I connected my wife to one of the characters who struggles with her love versus what she has to do to satisfy her lover. I've haven't seen many who are totally happy with what is enough in relationship to boot wearing and their significant other, and I'm certainly in that category. I find it very frustrating but this made me see the other side of the coin, ie. how's it's viewed from my partner. I still have needs that are part of my interests but the movie made me think that maybe there's a different way to communicate and share it with her. Lately it seems too much for her and she hardly ever wears them. I love when a movie brings you a truth that you didn't expect to find and it reveals something about yourself. It's going to stick with me for awhile. Away from the self-psycho babble and back to the boots. There is a boot polishing scene, that is a reveal of some spoilers and one of the lovers is attracted to a variety of boots and is even accused of polishing a third ladies footwear. Near the end there is a great pull on scene and about 15-20 seconds of closeups. But the movie is recommended for more than just the boots.
