From the Austin, TX episode of National Geographic's America's Lost Treasures(2012), host Kinga Philipps rocks a pair of knee boots over her jeans.
Three years ago this was a common look on the screen (it still is in real life). I've spent the last few days reviewing literally 100's of gigabytes of current movies and TV shows. A depressing experience filled with uncountable numbers of horrid little ankle shoes. We enjoy the great wheel of fashion when it lifts us to new heights, but curse it when we are crushed beneath it.
It's still very common in real life. In fact, one benefit of the currently dire, wet British climate is that it's a year round style.

Kinga Kinga Kinga, god I miss her, I miss this stupid show from a couple of years ago who wouldnt sexy girl wearing boots. On that even sillier show on Scifi what was that Legendquest I think she was booted quite a few times. I really enjoyed editing those videos.
