From Out of Season (1975) we get some great views of Susan George's fab near knee-scrapers.

NOBODY did the mid 70's platform knee boot as well or as often as Great Britain.  America was mad for denim bell bottoms and Europe had largely abandoned the boot, but England kept at it.

Perhaps one of your best posts. Great boots!

  2. I don't know if I'd go that far. But, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot to like in this clip, but it's just barely my favorite for today. This just goes to show that if I follow my gut I'll end up posting stuff that SOMEBODY loves.

What everyone likes is relative to that individual :)

I was in junior high and high school, 1974-80, and saw these types of boots all the time, therefore my thumbs up for them and this post.

And yes, I did enjoy it, Thank you!

  4. Yep, I too remember the absolute proliferation of this wonderful boot style in the mid - late seventies. Brown leather featured heavily, and in no way has had any influence on my casual hobby "the study and appreciation of the knee high tan leather day boot".
